The Elephant® Beta-15 DeIcer
The Elephant® Beta-15 is the highest reaching, truly mobile standard aircraft deicer, requiring no external stabilisation for any operational mode. It has all of the excellent characteristics of the regular Elephant® Beta deicer providing firm stability, unsurpassed manpower efficiency, fluid saving capability and minimum overall operational cost.
Extended reach
A specially designed boom system elevates the operator's eye level to more than 15 m (50') above ground and the spraying nozzle to more than 23 m (75') height, keeping the operator's cabin in front of the truck all the way up.
Due to the proportional hydraulic system, all Beta-15 movements are smooth and provide a wide deicing radius and high horizontal reach, making it ideal for remote deicing with running aircraft engines.
Although the Beta-15 was originally developed back in the mid 1980'es (for servicing large aircraft such as Il-76 and An-124), this deicer is available for present and future challenges in modern aviation.
