WSU-F serves as an efficient low profile, front operated vehicle being a very important tool in the busiest airports with its fast capability, small turning radius and large tank capacity.
WS saves costs for large airport operators with its swift working procedure and large tank capacity on a standard chassis.
MWS combines efficient and compact handling with high maneuverability.
SWS is perfect for commuter aircraft and for larger operations as backup equipment.

THE WSU CONCEPT

The core concept of all Vestergaard Water Service Units is to provide a safe and clean water supply and hygienic handling of the aircraft potable water system. The WSUs are customized to meet the specific requirements and preferences of individual customers. The winter protection of the WSU ensures reliable operation in all weather conditions.

THE WSU QUALITIES

The WSU’s high quality has proven to be extremely cost-effective. Low maintenance costs and long unit lifetime are achieved by implementing highest quality in components and manufacturing process of the Vestergaard WSU.

Fluid system and tank sections are fully insulated for winter protection. Optional anti-freeze heating systems are available. To protect the couplings from freezing, a coupling heater can be installed. The optional steam generator removes ice from the aircraft panel and piping.

The reflux function – a return suction of excess water in the flush line – prevents spillage on ground and formation of ice at aircraft connections and in unit hoses.
Units tanks and piping are approved for drinking water. The acid resistant stainless steel tanks are constructed with rounded corners and have surface treated welding seams for easy cleansing and disinfection.
An optional drain tank and belonging hose separate drained water from potable. The aircraft tanks and pipes can be blown through with air to avoid formation of ice.
All major components of the systems are standard and thoroughly tested. Parts and cables are marked according to the diagrams to facilitate maintenance.
